After living for many years in various countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and South East Asia, I am now based in beautiful Dorset where the abundant nature surrounding my current home inspires my art.
My paintings are generally in watercolours or acrylics and sometimes in mixed media. Recent artworks include abstract paintings, Botanical Impressions, monoprints and plaster casts, as well as handmade books. You can find some of my work and more information on the processes I use in the Studio section. I enjoy sharing my techniques with others and plan to run occasional workshops throughout the year (on hold due to the current situation) – please contact me if you’d like further information.
Alongside my art I enjoy anything to do with homes and gardens! I’ve enjoyed renovating several old properties and love to bring my artist’s eye to decorative schemes! I trained in Property Styling and Colour Consultancy to advise on how to present property for sale or rent (holiday homes too) and have written several helpful guides on Property Styling or Home Staging as it is also known – contact me for further details.
In my spare time I enjoy walking in the beautiful Dorset countryside and tending the subjects of my art in my courtyard garden. I am lucky enough to have a small studio there – an ideal spot for creating art with a view of the garden! If you’d like to visit my studio to see my work please contact me to make an appointment.
