Techniques I use to make original pieces of art with beautiful fibres such as linen thread, raffia, cane, paper string and banana silk.
I love to add natural pieces to my work - this small paper string vessel was woven with the open twining method and decorated with little seed heads from a dried Alium flower grown in my garden. The little black seeds in the pods team with the black fibre so well!

Whilst I enjoy creating decorative pieces, a basket always comes in handy!
This storage basket, fashioned by random weaving with cane was decorated with natural shell beads and holds some of my beach finds.
