Botanical Plaster Casting Workshop - Friday 28th February 2025, Dove Cottage Studio, Ansty DT2 7PN
Join me for a morning in my studio to learn how to create a beautiful botanical plaster cast!
Workshops are for a maximum of 2 people.
The workshop runs from 10am to approximately 1.30pm at a cost of ￡100.00 per person, which includes all the materials required to make a lovely botanical plaster cast during the workshop. It will be held in my garden studio in Ansty. Full address and directions will be sent after booking.
During the workshop you will learn how to prepare the clay and frame, how to work with the plant materials and find out how to mix the plaster and fill the clay impression. Whilst the plaster sets we will break for refreshments and I will show you how a piece should be cleaned and finished. You’ll then be able to remove the cast from its mould and be amazed by the delicate details revealed!
