Trace monoprinting - Friday 7th March 2025 My studio in Ansty DT2 7PN

£75.00

Come and spend a creative morning printmaking with me in my studio in Ansty.

Using a simple monoprinting method you can create spontaneous and expressive one-off prints without the need for a printing press.

You’ll learn how to ink up a printing plate and make marks using various tools to transfer designs to paper. This very accessible way of working means that if you don’t feel confident enough to draw directly onto the paper, you can use a traced image and then follow these lines to transfer the image to the paper.

We’ll work predominately with black ink but will also look at various ways to add colour with acrylics.

The workshop will run from 10 am - approximately 1.30 pm. All materials and tea and coffee will be provided.
